Eid Mubarak to all my lovelies who celebrated yesterday... I hope you all had a wonderful day with family and friends!
Eid was lovely yesterday... Even though I couldn't celebrate it with my Dad (he's over sea's and will be back tomorrow) but I spent most of it with my Husband, Mom, Sister, Brother and Brother in law, it was really a great day. Of course filled with yummy food, my Mom's amazing desserts and spending time and laughing with family members.
I don't know about the rest of you, but with second Eid, I don't tend to usually go all out and instead wore some new items that I hadn't worn yet. Sunday morning I was still trying on different things and ended up going with this... Somewhat ladylike. And yes, I know what you're thinking, Is this girl not tired of pleated skirts?? In all honesty, no. Well, not yet anyway!
blouse - honeychild | pleated skirt | heels - some little store | clutch - forever new | jewellery - aldo, diva, woolworths | watch - guess
The one thing I don't like about this pleated skirt is that it creases very easily. I steamed it the day before but could not get out this nasty crease on the side. As you can see, near the end of the day, it was really creased!
I want to do more a casual look with this skirt this weekend. And of course post it on my blog.
Oh yes, on Sunday my cousins asked me if I had dyed my hair lighter because on my blog (SO Sweet, they read my blog!) it looks much darker! So I'm happy you can actually see it's colour in these pics... I REALLY want to do something with it. I'm thinking of going a bit lighter... Sure if you've picked up that I love lighter hair!
If you haven't voted for me in The SA Blog Awards, what are you waiting for?? I need all the votes I can get! Please, Please vote for meeee... PRETTY PLEASE!
Thank you :)
Have a good week dolls...
