Make Up Inspiration: Kim Kardashian

I have always like Kim Kardashian's style and make up, I am not too fond of her as a person and her life choices but otherwise, her make up is always done beautifully!

Her long lashes, flawless skin, gorgeous cheekbones, glowing cheeks and full lips are always done up just right!

In these four pictures I LOVE her make up! 
On her Kim Kardashian's blog, her make up artist Joyce Bonelli breaks down the looks and mentions the products used.


The 2nd and 4th picture might be my favourite! Love the smokeyness of the eyes and the brown nude lips!

Not sure if you girl have seen KK's look from the SAG awards last night?
Her make up was nude and even though, it is totally different from her normal smokey eyes, I think she looks horrid! She looks much older than she is. And something is off with her dress... Doesn't really suit her! Or is it just me?!

Lucky Loves: MAC Creme Cup

MAC Creme Cup is a cremesheen lipstick and is a pretty pink colour. I personally love the cremesheen formula because I find it moisturizing, does not dry out my lips at all, smooth and has good staying power.

I had MAC Angel lipstick in my collection but gave it to my Mom, who gave it to my sister, I don't have a side by side comparison to show you, but I do find them to be similar. So you can have one or the other, no need to have both, unless of course you want to! 

I like Creme Cup more than Angel because of the formula's. Angel has a frost formula, if I'm not mistaken.

I have been into pink lips lately with dark eyeliner and glowy cheeks. I actually used my Creme Cup up these past few days! Finishing a lipstick is always a good thing in my book, that means I liked it and will probably repurchase! :)

My lips are very pigmented but with Creme Cup I get a very pretty pink lip! ♥

Ps... I just realised that the the first Lucky Loves was also about MAC products. I do have a preference to MAC products, but I also love many other brands!

A braid, flowers and a thank you!

I took these pics quickly before hubby and I headed out to have supper with my parents and siblings on Thursday evening.

My sister and I had sushi, was yummy in my tummy!

My hair was in a side braid because the wind in Cape Town was crazy and i had on my favourite flower earrings!

The beautiful flowers were given to me by my lovely cousin who came to Cape Town for a bit of a holiday.

She is from Durban, and the last time I saw her was on my wedding, 8 months ago!

Lucky Loves: MAC Ripe Peach Blush Ombre & MAC Jazzed Lipstick

 The 1st Lucky Loves :)
 This week its all about two coveted limited edition MAC products.
MAC Ripe Peach Blush Ombre and MAC Jazzed Lipstick.


MAC Ripe Peach Blush Ombre was released last year with the Spring Colour Forecast collection and is a pretty gradient blush that gradually goes from a light orange to a coral-peachy pink with tiny gold flecks of glitter.
It's pretty beautiful to look at too :)

MAC RIPE PEACH BLUSH OMBRE

MAC Jazzed Lipstick was released with the In the Groove Collection last year.
Jazzed has a cremesheen finish and is a gorgeous bright coral peach!
It is very pigmented and because of the finish, is very glossy!
No need for gloss, which is a plus!
I have been wearing Jazzed everyday this Summer, it goes with everything! Peaches, corals and golds have been my go-to Summer make up colours.

MAC JAZZED LIPSTICK

In both of these pictures I have Ripe Peach on my cheeks and Jazzed on my lips. Just to show how it works for me!

The only problem I have with Ripe Peach and Jazzed is that, they are both LE.
If they are finished, where am I going to get another??
And NO, I do not want to pay an arm and a leg on Ebay!
Hopefully MAC re-promotes these little gems... Fingers Crossed! x
