Vertigo Biker Leather Jacket || Country Road Top || Edgars Skinny Jeans & Black Ankle Boots || Mr Price Plaid (Tartan) Shirt || Lovisa Silver Earrings || Zara Black Chain Bag
This Winter, plaid or tartan is all the rage, especially when worn around the waist. Which can I say, works for me cos I'm all about covering my bum. Trendy and modest, win win! Also the whole throw your jacket over your shoulders thing seems to be the "in thing" among all the big fashion bloggers but I haven't really warmed up to that idea just yet. Quite frankly, my arms would freeze. Suffer for beauty, as they say.
You've seen me wear this Country Road top with flared sleeves in this blog post (link!) where I wore it in a very casual manner but decided to grunge it up. This biker leather jacket has to be one of my favourite pieces I own, its about 3 years old and because its genuine leather, still looks brand new. Investment pieces only have pro's and are my new way to go. Expect to be seeing it a lot. These boots are a year old and just add a certain edge. They are damn high though, and since pregnancy and having Maahir, I've become more of a sneakers and flats girl. The horror! I shall wear my heels tonight while lounging on the couch, stuffing my face and watching series. For practice. ;)
It's the long weekend (again!) and I'm ready to relax and HOPEFULLY (Insha Allah) welcome the arrival of my nephew or niece. That Baby doesn't know that he/she has quite a few people waiting for him/her. (Baby's sex is a complete surprise, how exciting!)
