In my last Essence lipstick review (link!) I spoke about how great Essence cosmetics are, affordable and even though some products can be complete let down, the lipsticks are all winners to me.

Today I'll be reviewing Essence Long lasting Lipstick in shade Barely There (06). I would describe the colour as a slight pinky brown nude shade. Well, nude in the sense that its a very natural looking colour. In fact, its a total MLBB (my lips but better) shade. It wouldn't be a nude for fairer skin tones though, but I'm pretty sure it would suit most!

This lipstick is ALWAYS in my handbag, I can wear it with any make up look for a slick polished look. I will show you next week how I layer this with other lipsticks which works great.
I don't find it too long lasting as the name of the lipstick claims but I don't mind as its moisturising and almost creamy. Adds a nice shine to my lips. I will definitely be repurchasing!

Let me know if you've tried any Essence lipsticks that I should add to my collection? I'm quite interested to to try some other shades. Or any other Essence products you love, leave a comment below with your recommendations.

I bought this at Clicks and was around R45,95 (I might have that wrong, can't find my slip)... But its cheap! Cheap but chic! ;)

  2. I love this lipstick! I'm already on my second one, as it's such a perfect colour I use it everyday. If I want it a bit darker/brighter, I blend in a little Soft Berry liner (also Essence) on my lips, and apply this over it - so pretty. :)

  3. I've seen so Essence products at my local drugstore but haven't tried them out. This shade is SOOOO pretty and totally up my alley - I think I'm going to go pick it up!

Your make up looks AMAZING! Maybe you could start doing makeup tutorials (hint hint) for the make up cake faces out there? lol!
