If you've been reading my blog for a while, you would know that I love maxi skirts. And, even though my last outfits would suggest otherwise, I'm always in jeans/pants/leggings, there's something about a maxi skirt which makes me feel elegant and lady like.

Well, hello there! I've had a month+ break for Ramadan, focus on the important things. Not that my blog isn't important to me, but my faith took first place. Blogging about what I was wearing seemed highly irrelevant with all the horror going on in the world right now. And while, the horror continues in Gaza, I and my family are taking steps to make a difference.
But, let's get back into why you are here... My OOTD! This outfit reflects my style perfectly. Classic but stylish. Is that a bit narcissistic of me? I hope not, knowing your personal style is essential to knowing yourself.

This is what I wore to the Dune London SS 2014 launch which happened last week Friday, but I'll have more on that in another post. Initially, I wanted to wear my ripped boyfriend jeans (these!) but was so two minded about wearing jeans to an event. Especially distressed ones, so I switched to my trusty beige pants. Which I need to find a similar style ASAP!

Looking at all my older OOTD posts, I realised that it's been a while since I've worn a skirt. And I own quite a few skirts, maxi being my length of choice. You know, modesty. But, pants are just easier to throw on and I'm all about non fuss dressing.
